In this world, our introduction to Lucifer wasn't anything noteworthy. We technically first met him from what little was shown of him in the pilot, but when we first properly saw him in the show itself, he admittedly didn't stand out to us immediately. During our first viewing of the show, we think we were too distracted by its many flaws to properly digest everything and get attached to most of the characters.

It wasn't until sometime after that we took notice of him more, and we found him very cute whenever we came across him in passing. 

When season two was approaching, we decided to give the series another shot, and we fell incredibly hard almost instantly...

More interestingly (at least to ourselves), we strongly believe we've had a long history together in a past life. We feel like we were in a relationship with each other, potentially for a very long time.


Past Life

In an effort to remember details, we did a past life meditation. We hesitated for a while due to our fears of seeing things we may not want to see, but our curiosity eventually won over. Below is a description of our experiences.

We think we were in Heaven in the Hazbin universe... Back when Lucifer was an angel. We walked down a long, white hallway with large portraits on the walls, before entering a garden. Lucifer was there, along with another angel, who was talking to him. The other angel was very tall... They towered over Lucifer, and we think us, as well. Lucifer looked younger, and his color scheme was white and blue. He was notably missing his hat.

He looked at us for a moment, before being guided away by the other angel. At that time, it didn't seem like we and Lucifer were that familiar with each other. He looked at us like he didn't really know who we were, but he seemed slightly curious. We also think we remember a tree, but it's very fuzzy... We think our hair was black, or close to it, and that we had wings.

We feel like we were a higher ranking angel. Not as high ranking as Sera or Lucifer, but higher than the average angel in Heaven. We think that garden was reserved for higher ranking angels, specifically. 

After that first meeting, we felt very drawn to him. We think we often watched and admired him from afar. Something about him just felt... different. His creativity and optimism made us curious about him, and he almost immediately stole our heart.

Everything felt peaceful at first, but then we started feeling a strong sadness, like something really bad occurred. And, later, we feel like more came to us and we think we know what may have happened...

We don't know how close we were to Lucifer before his fall. Maybe we were already close, or just acquaintances, but we think we remember feeling very, very angry over his banishment. Like we were personally being betrayed. At that point, we already loved and felt a strong attachment to him, and vehemently disagreed with the decision to send him away.

It may have been a more impulsive decision we made due to our strong emotions, but. We think we may have followed after him... We didn't know what we were getting into, and we didn't think it through properly. We just felt that Heaven wasn't our home anymore, and we didn't want to be there without him.

We very, very vaguely feel like we recall our arrival in Hell. It was a wasteland. Nothing as far as the eye could see. We remember feeling intense fear before we eventually managed to find Lucifer. 

Everything after that, we don't really know... Though during our meditation, for a few seconds we had a vision of him smiling fondly at us.

When we first learned of our past life with him, we had a strong feeling that we unintentionally did something that really hurt him at some point, and despite not remembering what it was, the guilt carried over. However, he doesn't hold whatever it is against us at all, and is instead really optimistic about our future together. We're very grateful of how forgiving and understanding he is...

Another, more minor thing we feel like we remember is having a habit of playing with his tail. This habit has also carried over, as we have the instinctive strong urge to hold his tail whenever we see it. We think it got to a point where Luci was so used to it that he started offering it to us silently, already knowing that we wanted it.


Angel Lucifer

Whenever we see art of angel Lucifer, it hits even deeper than art of him normally does. It makes our heart flutter. And we believe that's due to us first meeting him when he was an angel. It brings back the feelings of when we became enamored by him.

As mentioned earlier, as an angel, Lucifer had a white and blue color scheme in our past with him. And, coincidentally, a lot of the fandom has collectively agreed that he was blue as an angel (though we also see interpretations where he was gold or pink). As a result, we luckily have quite a bit of art of him that resembles how we remember him...
