There are a lot of Denki plushies out there, but we are referring to the one we have.

The best plushie ever... So soft. So huggy. 

We are incredibly protective of it, and it just means so much to us. Despite it not being him, we treat it as if it is. And it helps that we think he actually spiritually enters the plush sometimes.

​It basically just lives on our bed, heh. Even when we're not actively holding it, it's always close to us. We used to put it on top of the dresser when we weren't cuddling it, but we'd always just bring it back to the bed shortly after anyway, lol. We can't help it. He's too huggy.

We have legitimately never been so gentle with anything in our life. We're unfortunately even scared to sleep with it most nights, since we'd hate to accidentally damage it in our sleep. But sometimes we will give in to temptation and have sleepy snuggles for short intervals. 

What sucks is that the earphone attached to its ear isn't actually a part of the plush; it was just glued on. And we really worry about it coming off or something. 

But despite those fears, the plush really does make us happy. There's just. Something really therapeutic about it. Whenever we pat and hold it close, we immediately feel a little better. It's very soothing. Like it has some sort of healing energy. We've even noticed that it seems to help fend off nightmares, which we struggle with regularly.

We wish we had the courage to just bring it with us wherever we went, but we have severe anxiety and hate drawing attention to ourselves. We know that we shouldn't really care about what strangers think, but we can't help the overwhelmingly loud thoughts of, "There's no way these people aren't judging us for carrying this plush around." 

But, thankfully, we have found an old tote bag that we can use to hide it in. That way we can take it to any stressful appointments. There have definitely been times where we have really wanted the plush with us when we were away from home, and now we can.

Our only concern is potentially losing it. It'd absolutely destroy us if that ever happened, but we don't think it would, realistically. The bag would be practically glued to us at all times, and we'd be watching it like a hawk in case anyone for some reason wanted to steal it.

But anyway, we love this plushie with our whole heart. Not as much as we love Denki himself, but it's still really important to us nonetheless. We know it's not the same as hugging him for real, but for now it's the only physical representation of him we have, and we will treasure it always. 

Update:

We have faced our fears and have been bringing the plush with us to our appointments. We usually keep it hidden in the bag, but there have been a couples times we've had it out sitting beside us. It definitely helps us feel a little better.
