What name(s) do you go by?
We go by both Rai and Leon, though we have a preference for the latter.
What are your pronouns?
Either he/him or it/its work. No she/her or they/them, please.
Why do you refer to yourselves in plural? Are there multiple people working on this site?
No. We're one body. It just makes us the most comfortable. Don't be mean about it. :)
Who even are you?
A total weirdo, though you may have already gathered that.
We're a chronically ill dragon (and many other creatures) trapped in a human body. We live a very uneventful life, and as such, have a lot of time to indulge in our interests and hyperfixations.
We like anime other than My Hero Academia, though we always struggle with actually starting any. We have a strong fear of getting into new media, for reasons that are difficult to explain.
We're a big fan of animation in general, particularly Disney and DreamWorks' older works (think 90s to the 2000s, with some of their films in the 2010s sprinkled in).
We're not really into many games, but we do tend to enjoy JRPGs more than other genres. Pokémon has had a tight grip on us since childhood, and it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
We're also into a variety of music; not picky about genre but typically gravitating towards rock, pop punk, and just a lot of emo-sounding stuff in general. We never grew out of our emo phase.
We have a hobby for creating (bad) websites, most of them centering around one of our biggest passions, which is archiving. Specifically, we archive language dubs of media we like.
Why did you create this site?
Because we love the silly, and we wanted an outlet to let out our constant thoughts about him.
Who's the dragon in your commissions? And the Espeon?
That's us. Hello.
And who's the human?
That's also us. Or rather, a self-insert. The character is Hibiki from Devil Survivor 2, but he's the most accurate example of how we'd want to look as a human. We plan on using him as a self-insert for future commissions with artists that aren't comfortable drawing dragons.
Why did you choose these colors for the site? They don't feel very Denki-like...
We wanted darker colors to make it easier on the eyes. We know how it feels to go on a site at night and be blinded by bright colors. However, dark yellow just. Doesn't look very good, and we thought having yellow text clashed a bit too much.
But despite the colors maybe not screaming Denki, we hope it looks alright.
What's the full image of the site background?
You can view it here.
Where do you get your images (fan art)?
We mainly get fan art from Twitter, though you have to find and follow people who actively draw or retweet art that you want to see, which can be a pain. Buhitter can help with searching through specific tags, though it doesn't include everything.
Pixiv and Zerochan have some nice artwork, as well. And Pinterest can be a goldmine if you're willing to go through all the different boards.
You seem mentally ill.
We know we are, thanks.
Are you open to being friends?
What a terrible mistake you've made.
In all seriousness, we don't know. Maybe? You're welcome to contact us, but we can't guarantee we'll want to talk actively. We have bad trust issues and are also just not the best with keeping in contact with people in general unless we're really close to them. But we appreciate you looking through our mess of a site, and if you somehow got enjoyment out of it, that makes us happy.
I have a question not included here.
Feel free to ask. We don't bite. Mostly.
